Savor this beautiful addition to any steak. Straight from Landry's Chefs, this simple recipe will be the perfect garnish to impress your guests at the dinner table.

1 Tbs. Unsalted Butter
1 Tbs. Minced Shallots
1 tsp. Minced Thyme
2 Cups of Whole Button Mushrooms
Kosher Salt (To Taste)
Ground Black Pepper (To Taste)
How to make the topping:
  1. Place butter in a large sauté pan over high heat.
  2. When the butter is bubbling and just starting to brown add the mushrooms and shallots and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Sautee the mushrooms for about 3-4 minutes until golden in color.
  4. Add the minced thyme to the mushrooms and mix until evenly spread out.
  5. Spoon sautéed mushrooms on top of your steak and enjoy.
