1 lb. Broccolini Trimmed Stems to 5'' Length
2 Gallons of Water
2 tbsp. Kosher Salt
1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 Clove Garlic (Minced)
2 tsp. Soy Sauce
2 tsp. Mirin (Optional)
1 tsp. Toasted Sesame Oil
1 tsp. Toasted Sesame Seeds
How to prepare Sesame Broccolini: 
  1. Bring the water and salt to a boil in a large pot
  2. Add the broccolini and cook until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.
  3. Drain in a colander.
  4. Heat a pan that can hold all the broccolini over high heat.
  5. Add vegetable oil to the pan to heat.
  6. Add garlic and ginger and cook without burning for about 20 seconds.
  7. Add hot broccolini to the pan and toss.
  8. Add soy sauce (and mirin, if using) and toss. Reduce until dry.
  9. Add the sesame oil and toss.
  10. Divide onto plates and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
